The Wild Edelweiss

once upon a time

It began in 1990. We didn't have any cellular phones, we didn't have any digital photography, we didn't communicate on internet platforms, we didn't click on likes, we didn't drive any SUV. Everything started with a small group of friends.

We wanted to celebrate and to share our passion for the mountains, the snow and skiing.

It all began in 1990 at Alp Margun on 2272 meters above sea level in a wooden hut. We coocked spaghetti by melting snow to water and danced to music from a ghetto blaster.

We brushed our teeth with freezing water and spent the night laying in spleeping bags watching the stars until sunrise.

Later on, we enjoyed treasure hunting, playing volleyball, slalom racing and surfing on a snow-pool.

Time went by and the small group turned to a great party with ambitious music, amazing drinks and wild dance.

Growing older we discovered the pleasures of delicious food and selected wines, elegant music and amusing nights.

Over the years The Wild Edelweiss became a trademark for glamorous partying and a great opportunity to keep in touch with old and new friends from nearby and far away.
 
We didn't always have sun...
but we always had fun!
